Kenk is convinced of the importance of good cooperation with customers and supply chain partners. An important new tool here is Building Information Modelling. In this model, all relevant information about the building design is stored geometrically as a three-dimensional representation of the design, but also non-geometric information such as technical specifications, cost information, manufacturers, etc. This data uses advanced model checker software, so KENK can then guarantee a high quality product.
BIM is still developing and KENK is following this development closely. Currently KENK is taking part in a cooperative project between the BNA and the European Social Fund in which one acquires knowledge about BIM and is advised on its implementation. KENK has taken a leading role in this new form of collaboration.
